Brown Haven Builders partners with Mountain Lakes Millwork to provide top quality windows, doors and cabinets for your construction project. They carry extensive product lines, including Jeld-Wen, Marvin, Crystal, Shiloh Sequoia, Baldwin and Emtek. They can also put together just about anything to meet your needs in their custom in-house shop.
Alan Mayes Rimer
Registered Architect
Alan is a native of north Georgia. He gradated with honors from Southern Polytechnic State University in 1975 with a degree in Architecture. He spent the first years of his career designing various types of buildings for an Atlanta architectural firm. Over the last 25 years, Alan has worked in his private practice and has designed many beautiful and creative homes that fit the styles and traditions of the mountains. He and his wife Hollie live in Young Harris.
Joy Dean
With Interiors & Treasures
Joy Dean is a licensed Interior Designer in the state of Florida with over 30 years design experience. She works in both the residential and commercial sectors, and has designed homes from Boca Grande, Florida to Alaska, and many in between. Joy's homes have won 1st place in numerous "Parade of Homes" showings, and her work has been published in "Professional Builders" magazine. One critical element that differientates Joy from many other designers is that she prefers to design a home based on her interpretation of the homeowner's desires, rather than creating her own "signature look". This distinction has resulted in many faithful, long term clients over the years.
